Design meets feasibility - designmaker 2012 Starting Signal for designmaker competition

viscom düsseldorf 2011 with numerous live demonstrations and seminars is the starting signal for the second designmaker. The award will not go to the most creative designs but to the best designs in terms of developing their full effect when applied to different advertising media. In spring 2012 the best concept will be awarded by an own event.

 

The designmaker is open for all creative people. The design must be effective in ten different forms: as a full and a partial car wrap, on a sticker, as a wrap for a toilet, on a printed poster, on glass, in a light box, as textile print and transfer as well as on a china cup.

 

On stand C51 in hall 8a visitors can get information about the new competition and experience with practical examples. All categories are exhibited with example designs. Also the making process is shown at the special area.

 

The designmaker will be awarded by viscom, in cooperation with ccvision GmbH and Karl Gröner GmbH. Under the motto "Design meets feasibility", the award will go to designs which develop their full effect on a large range of advertising media. The participants will supply the appropriate layout, while the practical implementation on the various media will be carried out by viscom. Until end of January 2012 presenters have the possibility to give in their designs. The first three winners will be assigned by a panel of experts. The final winner will be assigned at a separate event next year.
