„Miele VirtuReal Kitchen - dinteractive real-size planning tool"
Miele and the realising agency people interactive GmbH won the Digital Signage Best Practice Award in the "Retail Signage" category for a spectacular project at the Berlin "Miele Gallerie Unter den Linden" store. The interactive virtual configuration of kitchen modules is used in the Miele flagship store. The application offers gesture-controlled navigation with added haptic navigation elements.

This enables customers to see on screen how well stoves, cooking tops and exhaust hoods go together. The interactive planning tool is a digital signage system with a direct return on investment. Smart, helpful, perfectly integrated and very well designed - as the jury emphasised. The installation is therefore an ideal vehicle for transporting the enthusiasm and fascination of the up-market Miele products.

"Innovative and interactive ordering system at the Holyfields restaurants"
A project from the gastronomic segment is the winner in the Interactive Signage category. Guests at the Holyfields restaurant chain can choose and order their food and drinks via an interactive ordering system. Dishes can be viewed in films displayed on touchscreen terminals in the foyer and ordered there. As soon as the dishes have been prepared the corresponding notification is transmitted to the guest at his table. Here the jury primarily praised the coherent overall concept where the design of the cabinet and the screen perfectly fits in with the overall design. The system including the software were realised by Scala. Other partners involved were Newroom Media and the Ippolito Fleitz Group.
"Guiding Signage - Digital signage applications as guiding systems in public areas" Category
ECE Projektmanagement G.m.b.H & Co.KG
Agent: dimedis GmbH
"Customer infomation and guiding system for a shopping centre"
The determining factors for the jury's decision in the "Guiding Signage" category were the interactive component and the screen design of this digital signage solution. A customer information and guiding system commissioned by ECE Projektmanagement and realised by dimedis is the winner. Throughout the shopping centre, the system reliably guides the customer to the desired shop. The system serves as a planning and marketing tool for the centre management and turns into an active element in customer communication.
Taking just a first glance at the unit, the customer can identify the system as a guiding system and find the desired destination quickly and easily. Working entirely without the nomenclature customary in user navigation, the system enables the user to search intuitively in several languages. All searches are stored and evaluated.

As a result, the system simultaneously serves as a planning and marketing tool for the centre management and becomes an active element in customer communication.
