Frankfurt/Düsseldorf. After the huge success of the first Digital Signage Days at the Düsseldorf viscom in 2007, the offer for visitors will be doubled this year. At viscom frankfurt 2008, which will take place from 30 October to 1 November 2008 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, there will be two Digital Signage Days. A large number of lectures and practical examples will provide an overview of this new exhibition topic at viscom and supply comprehensive information as a basis for future business decisions. Among these are the essentials of content design and planning, information on the application and implementation right through to perception measurement. Day One, on 30 October, will deal with the topic “Success Factors for Digital Signage Applications“: on 31 October the topic will be “Content, the Key to Success “. “The field of digital signage is increasingly gaining in importance“, viscom Director Petra Lassahn explains. “viscom 2007 has shown that there is a great demand for up-to-date know-how. With the two Digital Signage Days, we therefore cater for the lively interest among visitors in information on digital signage applications.“ The Digital Signage Days do not only focus on applications in the retail and advertising segments, however, but cover all fields.

Best Practice Award – the Original
The Best Practice Award in the Digital Signage segment will also be awarded for the second time at viscom frankfurt 2008: the three categories in which manufacturers, service providers and commercial enterprises, agencies and integrators can register their products are Retail Signage – digital signage applications for the retail sector; Information Signage – digital signage applications supplying information on public displays and Routing – digital signage applications that are used as routing systems in public areas. The products will always be entered by the client and the supplier.

200 international exhibitors and 7,500 visitors from 30 countries are expected at viscom frankfurt 2008.
