A viscom frankfurt 2008 partnership involving Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH together with raumPROBE, Stuttgart, and ForTeam Kommunikation GmbH, Cologne.
1. The special show
In 2008, viscom, the international trade fair for visual communication, will once again be organising an interesting supporting programme in Frankfurt. One of the highlights will be the special show focusing on individual printing.
What standards and possibilities exist today for individual printing, which economic and ecological aspects play a role, what will be possible in the future, and where are the undiscovered areas of potential? All these topics, including standard applications and forward-looking technologies, will be addressed and presented in the form of a comprehensive special show. Common technologies, materials and processes will be explained on the basis of representative samples. New experiments will also be presented and materials not generally used will also be displayed.
2. The basic idea
Thematically the special show will be divided into three areas covering a total of 100 square metres: printing machines, inks and lacquers for individual printing, examples of printed materials from a range of sectors and new experiments. The printing tests will be carried out by PPS Imaging GmbH and Sander Digital Pictures GmbH.
What is unique about the special Industrial Inkjet Printing show is the concentrated arrangement and the type of presentation in the form of genuine samples. This will provide a comprehensive overview: the theory behind the technology and experiments will be explained but visitors will also be able to see and touch the results for themselves.
The special show has been devised and organised by the Stuttgart-based materials agency raumPROBE. The team of material experts runs one of the biggest exhibitions of materials and has tens of thousands of samples in its stocks. Your work involves the individual printing of materials? Then use the special show to show just what you can do. Selected companies will be given the possibility to present their ideas in the form of work samples.

The rapid growth in the field of Industrial Inkjet Printing is opening up new opportunities and lucrative markets to both manufacturers and designers.
Professionals in the fields of printing, materials and inks will be meeting during each day of the event in the special show area. Exhibitors and visitors can then have an informal chat about the latest trends over a beer or an äppelwoi (Frankfurt apple wine).
