For the first time viscom düsseldorf 2009 announced the Best Practice Award Light Advertising. The nominated projects could be marveled at its own special show:

The Award

viscom Best Practice Award Light Advertising 2009

 

Each year, large numbers of exhibitors help to ensure that the viscom remains the number one industry platform for the planning, manufacture, installation and maintenance of illuminated display systems.

Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH presented the first ever Best Practice Awards Light Advertising at the viscom düsseldorf 2009. The aim was to reward successful and innovative illuminated sign applications which have been well planned and creatively realised, and to present them to a wider audience.

 

Jury

The jury consisted of industry experts. These were representatives of the following institutions:

  • WERBETECHNIK specialist journal
  • Fachverband Lichtwerbung e.V.
  • Zentralverband Werbetechnik e.V.
  • EFRA Lichtwerbung Ernst Franke GmbH und Co. KG
  • Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH

 

The jury rated the entries based on the following criteria:
Technology and materials used, dimensions of light advertising, method of installation, integration in surroundings, basic idea and design. The overriding criterion for the assessment will be the creative solution.

The jury's decision is final.
