MAGICAL MOMENTS 2013 - you are right in the spotlight of Display PoS Expo from 07 - 09 November 2013 under the umbrella of viscom düsseldorf 2013

1. The Award

Every year, many exhibitors contribute to making viscom THE platform of the visual communication industry.
For the fourth time in order to honour and promote the creativity presented by the exhibitors, the 20th SUPERSTAR will be announced in the frame of viscom in cooperation with the display publishing house.

For turning modern product packaging into genuine eye catchers, increasingly complex and elaborate display and PoS solutions are designed. New materials, refinement techniques, digital media and lighting technologies are steadily gaining in importance here. viscom provides a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, technologies and processing options. So, the show offers the perfect place for this award.

2. Categories, Groups and Nature of Exhibits

On the SUPERSTAR can attend the following 14 natures of exhibits:

• Floor display

• Suspended display
• Counter display
• Presentation display
• Information display
• Product carrying display
• Shelf display
• Illuminated display
• Floortester
• Floor graphics
• Consumer packaging
• Digital signage
• Modular steel system

Submissions will be divided into the following groups and categories:

A Display (main material: wood)

D Display (main material: cardboard)

In each nature of exhibit max. three prizes will be awarded. Awarding all three prizes is not mandatory.
Moreover, there are special prizes for the best design, best technical realisation and for the most innovative solutions.

3. Jury

An independent jury will evaluate the submitted exhibits. The jury consists of four to six expert members and its composition changes every year. The jury members are marketing and POS managers from industry, trade and agencies. The jury evaluates the entries according to the following criteria: design, functionality, communication, technical realization and innovation. The jury‘s deliberation take place behind closed doors. The verdict is unchallengeable and the jury‘s decision is final. The first three exhibits with the highest score at the respective kategories will be awarded with a price.

The jury will assess the products entered according to the following criteria:
Every single member of the jury will evaluate the entries according to design, functionality, communication, technical realisation and innovation. Each juror may assign up to 5 points for each criterion. The exhibit with the most points in its category wins.
The jury's decision is final.

4. The Conditions of Entry

The Superstar contest is open to producers of displays, POS equipment, product presentation systems, shop systems, packaging types, promotional articles, digital signage and their customers.

A company may sign up an unlimited number of display, digital signage or/and packaging. Condition is that each exhibit has come to use.
Prototypes are not allowed.

• without stand € 850.- for each exhibit/sq. m + VAT

from 4th entry

• with booked stand € 650.- for each exhibit/sq. m + VAT
• without stand € 800.- for each exhibit/sq. m + VAT

from 10th entry

• with booked stand € 600.- for each exhibit/sq. m + VAT
• without stand € 750.- for each exhibit/sq. m + VAT

This charge includes decoration, electric power and guard service.

5. The Publication of Results

All entries will be on show for the whole duration of the Display PoS Expo (07 - 09 November 2013) at the special area at the viscom düsseldorf 2013 and will be published in the display magazines (print and online).

 

6. The Schedule / Registration

6 September 2013: Closing date for the participation in the Superstar 2013 contest.
