Materials show: Inkjet meets Materials

Special show spread over 100 square metres, featuring approx. 150 different material samples, original exhibits and photos of actual projects.

 

Serving as a market place for the industry, the special show and the innovation forum are aimed above all at small-business innovators, implementers and service providers. The special show also includes an "Architects' Lounge" - a spacious meeting area ideal for consulting with your peers and for holding profitable conversations.

 

The materials show is being organised for the third time by raumPROBE of Stuttgart and will be showcasing a large number of innovative, printable materials. All the material samples are clearly organised into categories reflecting the latest trends, including glass printing, films, XXL printing etc. Printed and unprinted material samples will be on show. This allows users to make direct comparisons and to assess which materials are best suited for their particular needs.

 

Original exhibits and sets of photographs showing existing customised printing projects provide an overview of what is currently possible in this printing segment. This gives visitors a vivid impression of what customised printing is all about, offering them a source of inspiration for their own future projects.

 

All the material samples on show are also included in the raumPROBE database, where they will remain for a certain period afterwards for reference purposes.

 

Companies submitting materials include:

• viscom exhibitors > in addition to the raumPROBE database, the material samples also feature the company name and the stand number
• Non-viscom exhibitors > in addition to the raumPROBE database, the material samples also feature the manufacturer's name. A fee based on the chosen manufacturer presentation is charged for this service.

A complete production process will be demonstrated in the special show: the exhibitors and their partners show the entire process from the photographer > via the pixel work > to the final product.

 

The whole process is represented, including everything from digital photography and image data processing, the pre-printing stage and colour management through to printing and further processing on different media such as T-shirts, cups, flags etc. Individual production processes are also shown separately on the stands of other viscom exhibitors.
